Constructed from Powder Coated Steel Tube with stainless Steel acessories and fastners, with other exposed parts treated with Zinc & Yellow passivate, built to last a lifetime. One of our customer uses a customised Great Mate Model Stand to flight prepare & start a large 80 inch CAP 232 model with a 45CC Petrol Engine and a large Hurricane 88 inch wing span weighing 11 kg powered by 50 cc Engine without the need for assistance from fellow modellers. The stand design allowed the Hurricane to be raised to check retract operations. See picture below

Although the Great Mate Model Stands were initially designed to support and work on fixed wing RC Models as well as support the user by providing a bench type resting platform, it has since evolved for use with many other RC applications through custom requests.
